Acumatica Integration Setup

Connect Acumatica for call pops, logging, and AI summaries

Overview

The Acumatica integration connects Lightspeed Voice directly to your Acumatica account using a Connected Application you create in Acumatica. Once connected, calls are matched to the correct record, pop-ups appear automatically, and call activity is logged for you.

Before You Begin

Before starting setup, make sure you have:

  • An active Lightspeed Voice account with Dashboard access
  • The Orbit desktop app installed
  • Acumatica admin access
  • The ability to create Connected Applications in Acumatica

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Install Orbit

Download Orbit from the Lightspeed Voice Dashboard by clicking the gear icon, install it, and sign in.

Step 2: Create the Integration in the Dashboard

Go to Dashboard → Management → Lead Settings → Integrations → Add Integration.

  • Enter the integration name as Acumatica
  • Select Acumatica as the vendor

Step 3: Assign Users

Enable users individually, or select all users and assign them at once.

Step 4: Configure Acumatica

In Acumatica, go to Integration → Show All → Connected Applications and create a new app:

  • Client Name: Lightspeed
  • OAuth Flow: Authorization Code

Shared Secret: Click Add Shared Secret, enter the description "Lightspeed," then copy and save the secret value.

Redirect URL: Add the redirect URL from the Dashboard, press Enter, then Save.

Client ID: Copy and save the Client ID for the next step.

Step 5: Authenticate

Enter the Client ID and Shared Secret in the Dashboard and authenticate the connection.

Step 6: Configure Call Pop Settings

Set Call Pop to All (recommended).

Step 7: Enable Triggers

Enable all triggers for full functionality.

Step 8: Configure Logging

Enable call logging, recordings, and contact matching settings.

Step 9: Test the Integration

Test inbound and outbound calls. Verify pop-ups, logging, and recordings are all working correctly.

Troubleshooting

Authentication failures: Recheck your credentials and the redirect URL.

No pop-ups: Verify Orbit is running and Call Pop settings are correct.

No logs: Confirm triggers are enabled.

Number Porting Note

If you're porting an existing number, test the integration again after the port completes to verify DID assignments.
