Overview
The ClientCircle integration connects Lightspeed Voice directly to your ClientCircle account, enabling two-way sync of text messages between both platforms.
Before You Begin
Before starting setup, make sure you have:
- An active Lightspeed Voice account with Dashboard access
- Valid ClientCircle login credentials
- A Lightspeed Voice texting-enabled number
Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Create the Integration in the Dashboard
Go to Management → Lead Settings → Integrations. Click the + icon to start a new integration.
- Enter the integration name as ClientCircle
- Select ClientCircle as the vendor
Step 2: Assign Users
Enable users individually, or select all users and assign them at once.
Step 3: Set Up Two-Way Texting in ClientCircle
In your ClientCircle dashboard, click Settings → Texting, then click the + icon in the upper right to set up two-way texting on a number. Choose Existing, then select Lightspeed Voice, and click Authorize.
Step 4: Map Your Number
Choose the Lightspeed Voice number you'd like to use, select a primary employee, and click Save and Continue.
Step 5: Confirm Authentication
Return to the Dashboard and click the refresh icon under My Authentication. The integration should now show as completed.
Step 6: Test Two-Way Texting
Test both directions to confirm the integration is working:
- From Lightspeed Voice — send a text and confirm it syncs to Conversations in ClientCircle
- From ClientCircle — send a text and confirm it appears in Lightspeed Voice
How It Works
When you send a text message to a contact in Lightspeed Voice, it automatically syncs to your Conversations with that contact in ClientCircle, and vice versa — keeping every conversation up to date on both platforms.
Troubleshooting
Authentication failures: Confirm the number was authorized correctly in ClientCircle and refresh authentication in the Dashboard.
Messages not syncing: Verify the correct number is mapped and a primary employee is assigned.
Number Porting Note
If you're porting an existing number, test two-way texting again after the port completes to confirm the number mapping is still correct.
