Overview
The InsuredMine integration connects Lightspeed Voice directly to your InsuredMine account. Once connected, calls trigger automatic pop-ups with caller details, call data loads automatically, and with two-way sync enabled, texts can be sent and received from either platform.
Before You Begin
Before starting setup, make sure you have:
- An active Lightspeed Voice account with Dashboard access
- The Orbit desktop app installed
- Valid InsuredMine login credentials
- A Lightspeed Voice texting-enabled number (for two-way texting)
Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Install Orbit
Download Orbit from the Dashboard by clicking the gear icon, install it, and sign in using your Lightspeed Voice credentials.
Step 2: Create the Integration in the Dashboard
Go to Management → Lead Settings → Integrations. Click the + icon to start a new integration.
- Enter the integration name as InsuredMine
- Select InsuredMine as the vendor
Step 3: Assign Users
Enable users individually, or select all users and assign them at once.
Step 4: Authenticate InsuredMine
Enter your InsuredMine credentials to establish the connection.
Step 5: Configure Call Pop Settings
Adjust your Orbit Call Pop settings on the Integration page or in Orbit under Integrations. Choose None, Inbound, Outbound, or All.
Step 6: Enable Triggers
Enable all triggers to fully utilize the integration. AI triggers only work if AI features are enabled on your server.
Step 7: Enable Two-Way Texting
In your InsuredMine dashboard, click the gear icon for Settings, scroll to Lightspeed Voice Texting, and click Connect. Click Authorize, then click Map Number, choose your texting number, and click Save. Back in the Dashboard, refresh the Inbound Integration Authentication.
Step 8: Test Call Flow
Test both directions to confirm the integration is working:
- Inbound — confirm InsuredMine opens the caller's information automatically
- Outbound — confirm calls launch and log properly
Step 9: Verify Logging
Make sure call recordings, data, and texts are appearing correctly, and that two-way texting syncs in both directions.
How It Works
Incoming calls trigger automatic pop-ups in InsuredMine with the caller's information. After the call, you can access recordings, data, and texts, and with NOVA enabled, sentiment and a call summary are added automatically. With two-way texting enabled, messages sent from either platform sync to both.
Troubleshooting
Authentication failures: Verify your InsuredMine credentials are correct.
No pop-ups: Make sure Orbit is running and Call Pop is enabled.
Texts not syncing: Confirm the number is mapped correctly and authentication shows as Integrated.
Number Porting Note
If you're porting an existing number, test the integration again after the port completes to confirm DID routing and number mapping are correct.
